Labor Induction Cuts Preeclampsia Complications

WASHINGTON — Pregnant women with preeclampsia or pregnancy-induced hypertension whose labor was induced at 36 weeks’ gestation or later had significantly fewer complications, compared with women who waited for the onset of labor, based on findings from the Hypertension and Preeclampsia Intervention Trial at Term (HYPITAT).
